About Robinhood Chain
Robinhood Chain, an AI-native Layer2 built on Arbitrum, launched its public mainnet on July 1, 2026. Within the first week, DEX trading volume exceeded $1 billion, ranking among the top five in the industry, with stablecoin market cap surpassing $200 million. A significant milestone was the launch of tokenized perpetual contract positions by Arcus, enabling 24/7 trading of 95 stock tokens and expanding RWA use cases. The integration of Binance Wallet marked a key infrastructure milestone, broadening access to the ecosystem. By mid-July, cumulative DEX volume reached $4 billion with TVL of $134 million, and a single-day DEX volume record of $989 million was set, demonstrating strong early momentum. These events highlight Robinhood Chain's rapid growth in DeFi and RWA sectors.
Over the past six months, Robinhood Chain launched its public testnet in February 2026 and officially launched mainnet on July 2, 2026 . Built on Arbitrum, the mainnet is an EVM-compatible, AI-native Layer 2 for real-world assets, using ETH for gas, with 100ms block times and Chain ID 4663 . Robinhood also launched Robinhood Earn, a DeFi deposit product letting users lend USDG via self-custodial wallets, with an estimated ~7% APY from underlying RWA interest . Tokenized U.S. stocks are available through Robinhood Wallet in over 120 countries.
Future roadmap: continue building tokenized real-world assets and onchain financial infrastructure, with plans to launch crypto trading in the UK ; commit $1 million to the Arbitrum Open House developer program ; progressively open Stock Tokens and Robinhood Wallet direct interaction on mainnet, and expand lending, wallets, bridges and apps. The official goal is financial-grade decentralized products forming a "chain → product → user" loop .

His background: early days working at McDonald's during the day and self-teaching coding at night; later founded a no-code e-commerce payment company; served as core engineer at Airbnb and Uber, and as VP of Engineering at privacy Layer1 project Iron Fish. Joined Robinhood in 2021, promoted to current role in 2023, leading the Arbitrum-based Robinhood Chain and driving CeFi-DeFi convergence.
